Using this model train is easy. Just connect it to a compatible analog DC power source. Make sure the power supply is stable to avoid any electrical issues. When operating, you'll notice some moderate motor/gearbox noise, which is normal for this model. The Kadee coupler on the tender and the cast coupler on the locomotive pilot make it easy to connect to other train cars.
As for maintenance, since the wheel wear is minimal, you don't need to worry too much about wheel replacement in the short term. However, you should regularly clean the wheels to keep the train running smoothly. You can use a soft cloth to gently wipe the wheels.
Keep in mind that the model has some damage on the right - rear portion of the tender, and the right - side tender ladder and step are missing. When handling the train, be extra careful around these damaged areas to prevent further damage.
When storing the model, place it back in the ReBoxx box with the bubblewrap and foam for protection. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can affect the paint and the overall condition of the train.
