This is a 1977-run model imported by S. Soho & Co. and built by Kumata in Japan. The box has only minimal shelf wear. It comes without spare parts. The unpainted model shows just a bit of tarnish and includes Champ decals. These cars served on all of UP's passenger trains until May 1, 1971. Some were later modified for MOW Service, and a few have been preserved.

Using this HO scale brass model is easy. You can simply place it on your model train track to display it as part of your collection. Since it's unpainted, you can also use your creativity to paint it as you like. When handling the model, be gentle to avoid any damage, especially to the small parts like the couplers and trucks. To keep it in good condition, store it in the original box and foam when not in use. Clean it gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the brass or the decals. If you're planning to paint it, make sure to use paints suitable for brass materials. And remember, if you have any concerns about shipping, payment, or returns, our friendly team is here to help!
