Using this HO scale brass locomotive is quite straightforward. It operates on an analog DC - only control system. Just connect it to your compatible DC power source, and it should start running with all 16 wheels powered. Since it has a moderate motor/gearbox noise level, don't be too alarmed if you hear some noise during operation.
Here are some important things to note. One of the trucks has a cracked gear, so it's disabled but will free - wheel. Be gentle when handling it to avoid further damage. Also, the custom paint on it shows signs of use, so don't expect it to look brand - new.
For maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean place. You can use a soft, dry cloth to gently dust it. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or abrasive materials on the locomotive or its parts. When it comes to storage, use the original E. Suydam box and foam insert to protect it. This will help prevent any accidental damage during storage.
