Using this HO scale locomotive is easy. First, make sure you've got a DC - analog power source. Connect it to the tracks and switch it on. The locomotive's front, rear, and Mars lights will start working right away. You can control its speed and direction with your DC controller.
When it comes to maintenance, since it was recently serviced and lubed, you don't need to do much right away. But over time, check the wheels for wear. If you notice any excessive wear, it might be time to replace them. Also, keep an eye on the motor noise. If it starts getting louder than the current 3 out of 10 level, it could mean something needs attention.
When handling the locomotive, be gentle. The brass body is fragile, so avoid dropping or hitting it. And remember, the front coupler has had the trip pin removed, so be careful when attaching or detaching cars. If you're not happy with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days, but you'll be responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item arrives damaged.
